WR Plaxico Burress decided to take a day off of practice without calling off so the Giants have suspended him for one game and docked him two game checks.  This will hurt the Giants’ offense quite a bit as Burress was off to a outstanding start to the season.  He has caught 18 passes for 259 yards (14.4 avg) with 1 TD grab so far this season.  Domenik Hixon will start in the game that Burress is suspended for.  He has caught 6 passes for 89 yards (14.8 avg) so far this season.  Hixon is a decent player but there will be a dropoff in production until Burress is ready to return.
