New York Giants 21, Chicago Bears 16

Things were looking bad for the Bears heading into the 4th quarter as they were down 16-7.  But, Eli Manning and the defense rose to the challenge to bring the Giants back.  Manning completed 16 of 27 passes for 195 yards with 1 TD pass and 2 interceptions.  Derrick Ward was outstanding running the ball as he carried it 24 times for 154 yards (6.4 ypc) with a TD run and he also carried the ball 2 times for 29 yards (14.5 avg).  Reuben Droughns pitched in with 10 carries for 25 yards (2.5 ypc) with a TD run.  Amani Toomer led the way for the Giants in the passing game with 6 receptions for 69 yards (11.5 avg) with a TD grab.  The Giants finished with 175 yards rushing on 37 carries (4.7 ypc) and they also completed 16 of 27 passes for 181 yards.

The defense was led by Kawika Mitchell who had 12 tackles.  The Bears finished up with 68 yards rushing on 23 carries (3.0 ypc) and they also completed 25 of 46 passes for 244 yards.
