The New York Giants sign two defensive players
Defensive tackle Marcus Bell has been signed by the Giants. He played in 13 games last season for the Detroit Lions and he made 39 tackles, had 1 sack, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble. Look for the Giants to use Bell a lot in their rotation in the interior of the defensive line. Bell is a huge man at 6’2″, 325 pounds so he will likely help out in keeping the linebackers clean to make plays when he’s on the field. The Giants also signed reserve CB Michael Stone. Stone played in 2 games for the Houston Texans last season and he only made 1 tackle.
