One look into Eli Manning’s eyes and you knew the Giants were in for a long night.  Manning completed 19 of 41 passes for 230 yards with 1 TD and 2 INT.  Tiki Barber had his first bad game in a long time with 10 carries for 27 yards (2.7 ypc). Jeremy Shockey (7 rec, 82 yards) and Plaxico Burress (5 rec, 65 yards, TD) both had decent games for the Giants.

Antonio Pierce (10 tackles, fumble recovery) and Will Demps (9 tackles) came to play, but the rest of the defense was M.I.A.  The Jaguars carried the ball 43 times for 165 yards (3.8 ypc).  The Jags also completed 19 of 32 passes for 249 net yards thru the air.

This was an absolute beat-down on Monday Night Football.  It dropped the Giants to 6-4, tied for first with the Cowboys in the AFC East.
