The Giants simply pushed the Jets weak offense around the whole game.  The only points the Jets scored were on a blocked punt return for a TD in the 4th quarter.  The Giants only gave up 74 yards rushing on 19 carries (3.9 ypc).  The Jets only completed 45.2% of their passes for a 110 yards net passing.

The Giants offense hogged the ball for 36:28 of the game.  The Giants ran the ball 39 times for 138 yards (3.5 ypc).  The Giants were led by Tiki Barber who ran the ball 11 times for 60 yards.  Brandon Jacobs carried the ball 11 times for 29 yards and a TD.

The Giants didn’t do too well throwing the ball.  Eli Manning completed 10 of 20 yards for 107 yards and a pick-off.  Jared Lorenzen was the only other QB to play, thus solidifying his role as the #2 QB.  Lorenzen completed 7 of 12 passes for 50 yards.
