The 17-0 final score doesn’t tell the whole story.  The Giants ran a perfectly balanced offense as they rushed 36 times for 154 yards and netted 155 yards passing completing 21 of 32 attempts.  Eli Manning looked sharp completing 11 of 14 passes for 80 yards and a TD.  Rob Johnson got his helmet out of mothballs and completed 7 of 14 passes for 62 yards.  Brandon Jacobs played like a madman, rushing 9 times for 40 yards and a TD.  Amani Toomer caught Manning’s TD pass, it was a five-yarder.

The defense was awesome.  The Giants held the Chiefs to 40 yards rushing on 17 carries.  The Chiefs only completed 13 of 24 passes for a net of 71 yards passing.  Awesome game for the defense.
